Buyer's Market Continues In Squamish
The Squamish condo market has bounced back and doubled it's performance from the previous month with 30% of sales to new listings. The detached market is balanced at appx. 50% sales to new listings. Once we reach 60% sales to new listings we switch to a seller's market and prices could begin to rise. Consumer confidence that we have cleared the hump regarding the resession will allow for continued growth in sales volume for Squamish. However, the Bank of Canada has warned that we may not acheive as robust a come back as previouly expected.
