Squamish Zoning Flexible

Squamish real estate zoning for a area along Loggers Lane has been in down town Squamish has been given flexible zoning. This zoning allows the use to be switch between residential and commercial zoning. The idea is to allow the area to change zoning as the demand for its use changes over time.

One challenge for a developer is that residential property is more valuable than commercial so its unlikely that once property is residential it would  be changed to commercial.
